The act of deliberately keeping rare and otherwise unavailable artefacts out of circulation purely for the purposes of cultivating a sense of superiority over others. YOUNG ONES REVENGE (n.) Confused yet violently indignant critique which dissects the frame rather than the art it surrounds. e.g. "This website is rubbish because there's no text-only version and the margins are wrong", "All Radio Times parodies are a direct rip-off of TVGoHome!", "This obscure Chris Morris radio show is appalling because it was only encoded at 64kbps", and "This Glossary Of Terms is in dictionary form so it must be directly copied from The Meaning Of Liff. or Roger's Profanisaurus. Or something else I've heard of."
