It IS about a weatherman - I know because I wrote it! I usually contribute to this site under the name of 'hanktherapper', but I guess it's time to own up and face the possible wrath of the corpses (but hopefully some of you will like it). It's the first script I've ever managed to get on the radio, and I'm quite proud of it.
I would like to know what you all think - It's on Radio Wales this Friday at 6:30. Please be gentle with your reviews..
It's certainly getting trailed a lot, I just saw it after the Welsh evening news. I will endeavour to listen!
Good luck to you, Mr Potter, from another writer of BBC Wales comedy.
I hope they do your show better thsnthey did ours.
what was your show, Mr Griffiths? (I listen to far too much Welsh comedy than can possibly be considered healthy)

"The Basement". It was on last year. There were a few aspects of the production and casting we weren't happy with, but it had its moments, well, nanoseconds.
Me and Cai Ross (co-writer) were commissioned to write a 2nd series, which we think, not to put too fine a point on it, will piss all over the first.
My Kind of Wales was a breath of fresh air. I laughed heartily on many occasions, all the stuff about wanting to feel more Welsh was spot on, I loved the line comparing Wales to a woodlouse! My favourite scene was the triple jumper with his three-point plan, it made me laugh like a drain. I'll be tuning in for "Food" next week. Nice one!
