City of Lost Children is fab. I saw a still from a later film that Jeunet made on his own, but it was just a less funny version of the rhythmic sex from delicatessen. Do you know if there are any Jeunet and Caro films apart from delicatessen and city?
Now you see this one-eyed midget
Shouting the word "NOW"
And you say, "For what reason?"
And he says, "How?"
And you say, "What does this mean?"
And he screams back, "You're a cow
Give me some milk
Or else go home"
Because something is happening here
But you don't know what it is
Do you, Mister Jones?
Well, you walk into the room
Like a camel and then you frown
You put your eyes in your pocket
And your nose on the ground
There ought to be a law
Against you comin' around
You should be made
To wear earphones
I saw the new Jeunet Film 'Amellie' a few weeks ago and it is truly amazing. If you liked their other films then believe me you will love this.
A friend told me that there was an early Jeunet film but I have no idea how to track it down.
Well, there's that cacky Alien movie, if you're really desperate...
Oh, it wasn't too bad. It was better than most other "part 4" films. And it did have to find a way of bringing the main character back to life, which never works.
I'll try and track down Amellie. toto the hero remains my favourite film. anyone seen it?
>I'll try and track down Amellie.
It's out in the UK at the beginning of October. And it has a very nice Yann Tiersen soundtrack.

It's from 'Ballad of a thin man' by Bob Dylan and I claim my 5 pounds.
>Well, there's that cacky Alien movie, if you're really desperate...
C'mon any film which insinuates lesbianism between a cyborg and a genetically produced human/alien half breed gets my vote. Tho' I would have had the last shot being Ripley sliding her hand down on to that birds (forgot char and actor name) arse.
American Beauty (My best friend became my girlfriend who is now my fiancee. All that happened after seeing a film about a marriage breakdown. It may be the US version of Reginald Perrin but it still is good)

Dr Strangelove (Binds me and my father together in our shared love of it)
