Seems fine to me.
Anyway it would be wrong to break it up. Its unwieldliness is what is so attractive about it. Plus, it would be wrong to allow any thread with NME in the title more than one area - someone might think we're promoting it.
It's a sign of a thread's immortality; is that.
(And this whole site crashes my browser every 27 minutes.)
If you think that's bad, you should see the What happened to Suiii thread over on TVF. Takes haaaaaaweres to load it does
It's too long for my computer. Are they still talking about the NME at the bottom, or has the conversation moved inexplicably on to the topic of masturbating gibbons or some other shit.

No, the NME thread has somehow managed to remain relevant through almost all of its posts, maybe because it's such an important issue. Whither the quality music press these days? If you haven't been following the thread and have a few hours to kill it's well worth going over.
I take it when SOTCAA dies this thread will crop up again on sotcaabits?
I spoke to Jon last night and he mentioned the request in the current issue of the NME for feedback on how the paper is shaping up. Hmm, now where could we find that...
The NME thread was and still is a triumph.
