Well, maybe you shouldn't get so wasted if you know she's coming on the telly.
A Mr Bean cartoon?
ie: a series that's only funny because a real life person behaves like a cartoon character, is to be made into a cartoon?
That'll be the only joke gone, then. Genius.
Unless it's just a remake of Mr Benn, but he falls over more often and loses his watch down the drain and ha ha ha ha
Lee Cornes wrote the cartoon series according to RedDwarf.co.uk.
"Being a visual comedy, I thought it would be easier than it turned out to be. There's a bible of what Bean can and can't do. Also you think, 'It's a cartoon, you can do anything - fall out of an aeroplane, go into space.' No. In fact, the volume of the Bean character has only been turned up a few notches. A good percentage of the cartoon could be filmed with Rowan, in real life. The criticism they had of [my draft scripts] was 'too cartooney'!
That's the job of Robin Driscoll, the script editor - to keep that constant line. Over 52 shows, by the way! There's about eight or nine left to write, to be shown as 26 two-times-11-minutes, either side of an ad break. It's a big project - the animation studio's really on overdrive."
Fourth (I believe) series of Gx3 on the way, cos my mum, whose house they film the exteriors at, got a call off the location manager a while back asking if the place was available. Second thought, this should be on the 'most rubbish celebrity anecdotes' thread really.
The story has been carries on http://www.smegmeister.cjb.net for many months
