20 year old satire

last night bbc2 repeated an episode of not the nine o'clock news. am i alone in finding this to be a complete waste of fucking time? not only did it look and feel dated, but I'd forgotten half of the events it was satirising...
the only comparable thing that springs to mind is if TW3 had been repeated in the 80s, which I don't think it was...
oh yeh, NTNOCN was mostly shite, anyway, so maybe my views have been slightly coloured by my prejudices...
glad I got that off me chest
