I think this calls for another boycott.

Anyone actually know how long before SOTCAA is destroyed?

Ooh, that evil Rob...

I think it's all a plan to get rid of unwanted forum goers. After seeing how easily the BES hoax was to create, SOTCAA hatched a plan of it's own.

Bent, who is John Walker? (I mean, apart from the obvious "he's a cunt" conclusion that one can draw from the Victoria Wood piece.)

You'd think they'd have bothered to put some actual information on the site before they started, and not just some Gusset-Weekly-level bilge about Victoria Wood. Whose last show, for what it's worth, pissed over "god-like genius" Chris Morris's last show.

Also, you'd think they wouldn't have drawn attention to their Glebe's Thrift Funnel site, which was last updated last century. (Unless you count "Morris has new series called Jam" banner - Walker and Mailer presumably couldn't make up their minds about what to say about it.)

The Edit-Spotting bit looks optimistic as fuck too. I wonder where they'll get their info from. I wonder.

Jesus! That is dreadful! I'm not a SOTCAA sycophant, so it's not through some faux rivalry that I'm commenting.. but...

The dislike of Victoria Wood seems to stem from the same public school boy mentality that I have encountered many times in the past. Certain types of (mentally) adolescent boys seem incapable of understanding sophisticated character comedy.

I'm sure we all eagerly anticipating Walker and Mailer's forthcoming sitcom.

An old friends mum was best friends with Victora Wood in junior school, a long time ago.

However, Dinnerladies was stil bollocks.

I'm back from holiday.

Can I make my first post-break posting here?

OK

Victoria Wood could turn up at my door to tell me my brother was dead and still raise more of a lugh than that piss poor excuse for an article.

Ah. 'Tis good to be back.

I loved Dinnerladies. I can't understand the hatred that seems to pour onto it from certain corners of this forum. It was a perfectly good light-hearted-wacky-ensemble-sitcom, like Dad's Army and OFAH. What do people have against it?
