Saturday afternoon comedy, Radio2

There's that Parsons and Naylor show, the 'Pull Out Section' and the thing before it, Jammin (or possibly 'Jamming' which wouldn't surprise me)...While P+N I can listen to and only cringe here and there and laugh on occasion, even tho Parson's intonation irritates, this Jammin programme hosted by Roland Rivron is one of the most directionless pieces of drivel I have ever had to apply my ears to...has anyone else heard it or was it a hellish nightmare of my own devising?

Nope, you're not hallucinating. I had to turn it off after about 5 minutes. Shame really as the Mark Lamarr programme before it was quite good, what with shooting the contestant several times and all.

R2 on sat. has a great tradition of crap, Roy Huddlines, Love 40 (new balls), Hole in the Wall gang.
Even the bearable stuff like the comp progs of stand up are usually ruined by Bob Monkhouse (BTW Bob if you know so much about comedy, why are you so unfunny).

Jammin' was shit.
Parson's and Naylor are ace. I admit some bits are dodgy, but generally it is very good. I know what you mean about the intonation though.
