Kenneth Macdonald

who played the barman in Only Fools and Horses and was also in It Ain't 'Alf Hot Mum
has died of a heart attack at 50.
I had the pleasure of working with him on the last episode of TGP and he was a very charming and interesting man who didn't mind talking about his comedy past.
One of thsoe comedy stalwarts who never gets much recognition, so just thought I'd say it's sad to see him go

Yep, he was a top man. Maybe the new episode of Fools will contain two funerals.

I saw him down the swimming baths once when we were on a school swimming lesson in 1976. I hope he enjoyed his swim.

I noticed how young he was when reading his obituary today. What a sad waste.

There's a photo of him in this week's RT - he's in 'Mersey Beat' on Monday (assuming they show it - a nice tribute, if the title wasn't so tragically ironic).

At least it wasn't an appearance in 'Heartbeat'.

Was he the one in My Night with Reg? Or was that a different Only Fools actor?
