Brass Eye? Absolutely disgusting. No children were buggered at all.

I shall be complaining to Channel Four.

I'm kind of surprised that cookandbombd have the whole thing posted - maybe they got permission from Talkback to do this?

What is the point in asking this question?

it's not really a question, more like speculation.

But there's no point speculating over it either. There's no actual need.

Do you mean that it's obvious that you have permission to post full episodes, because otherwise you wouldn't do it? Or what?
The reason it's interesting is that we have talked about internet archiving of rare/uncommercial progs on this forum before and it would be interesting if Talkback were happy to let fans archive stuff.
So, go on, DO they have permission? (I know you quit, but you might know). Neil?

I'm not on the site team any more so I can't answer this. What I mean, though, is that there's no real need for anyone to be asking this. That's what I said, and that's what I meant.

I just don't understand why you feel you need to know. It's there for download, surely that's enough?

I can't speak for Neil, but I'm pretty fucking sick of people demanding answers from me about CaB.

Tell that to Napster!
I was interested in the copyright issues like I just said. But if it's a big secret, don't worry about it.

Why are you being so secretive, TJ? What's the big deal? If you're not that bothered, surely you would just ignore Hackenbush?

There is no secret.

I'm not being secretive. I just don't understand why it is so imperative that anyone should demand to know _why_ a download has been put online. And if someone really does feel that they need to know, CaB has both a forum and an email address of its own.

Thank you Mr Bastard.

I'm sorry if anyone thinks I've come across agressively on this thread, but bear in mind that it's only a couple of weeks since this place turned into a kangaroo court over CaB, with anonymous people ineptly attacking me over something that I didn't actually have anything to do with, and demanding answers left right and centre.

Anyway, there is no sinister shady backhand deal behind the appearance of the special on the site. Some people asked Neil if he'd put it up, and he did. There was no official seeking or granting of permission, but I don't think it helps anyone to draw attention to this question. As has been evidenced over the last couple of weeks, you never know who's reading this forum.

I may not be involved with CaB any more, but I do still feel the urge to wade in and speak up for them. Hope that clears a few things up.

If TalkBalk are on emailing terms with the site, they already already know the show's on it.

Maybe there's no point asking the question, but there's clearly no point jumping down anyone's throat for asking it.

Peter, I explained why I did this above.

And you were one of the few people who spoke up for me during the BES cancellation thing, so belated thanks to you for that.

So, in summary, there is no secret, but there's no need for anyone to know about it, and it's a bad thing to draw attention to the issue on a public website.

Thanks.

Talkback AREN'T on emailing terms with the site. Talkback have NOTHING to do with the site. They asked me to remove a few posts on Verbwhores which would have been damaging to the show, so I did. Got it?

Finally, endless speculation over what a website should and shouldn't be allowed to do is a very good way to get that site closed, which seems to be what most of the posters here want for CaB now anyway.

I just don't see why you feel you have the right to know about that site.

Some people asked me to put it up, and I'd rather you didn't draw attention to it. You never know who might be reading this forum.

I definitely don't want you closed down, since I think it's good that you're letting people get the show and make up their minds, rather than going by a "summary" and some clips.
But if Talkback have seen the site anyway, it doesn't matter really. They obviously don't care.

That reminds me of how pathetic people's reaction to the whole cancellation thing was. I mean, I've had disagreements with TJ in the past, but treating him like some sort of monster was ridiculous. He's hardly the bloody enemy, is he?

Hackenbush, a significant proportion of your posts in the past few months have been ridiculous conspiracy theories about BES, SOTCCA's agenda and just about everything else. These theories of yours puzzled me greatly as they clearly weren't and would never be the case.

It seemed to me that you had some kind of agenda behind posting them, which I found interesting.
