Radio f***ing Times Posted Wed Jul 25 23:15:59 BST 2001 by 'Nick Lee'

Look at this! Just *look* at this.
In the most recent issue of RADIO TIMES, an article heralded as "The Best TV Comedy Ever" not only misses out SPACED but proceeds to list "My Hero" and "My Family" as candidates for best sitcom 2000-resent.
Or... funniest presenter "Angus Deaton"... have they seen "Before they were Famous"?!
Jesus Fucking Christ.
See http://cgi.spaced-out.org.uk/cgi-bin/news/news.pl for more along a similar vein.

Too right!

One month they lavish Spaced with all the praise it deserves and really push it, then as soon as it comes to something like this the old bias comes back. Obviously "one surreal comedy was enough" to give us a choice...

Oh, yes. Missed that one.
Well, it's still a fascist plot. To take over the comedy of decent, Basil Fawlty-fearing people and pervert it into a show incorporating all 1 of the gags in friends repeated over and over again. Arghh!

The selections are irrelevant. They should have just put an entry form on a page with twenty categories and no priming the readers. Then we might actually see some surprises.
