this just posted on reach4 forum:

I've just received inside information that Channel4 have decided to cancel the showing of the Brass Eye Special on Thursday, with a view to withdrawing it completely from an airing. Apparently this is due to a mass of complaints about the advert featuring the line about a pedophile disguised as a school, and NOT anything to do with Phil Collins as many of you may otherwise speculate. Chris Morris himself is said to be very angry with Channel4 and is workign together with Talkback Productions to get Channel4 to air the program as planned.


his only source however seems to be "inside information" so its probably another big fat lie to stir everything up again, but you never know.

It probably is a prank. Just phoned C4. Spoke to some phone fuckwit ;-)
Apparently everything's ok, it's fine... etc....

But I guess he may not be 'informed'.
