They used to have a terrific reactionary 50's family sitcom, reminiscent of The Day Today's "Attitide Night" and Harry Enfield's Cholmondley Warner stuff. If that's still there it's well worth the download time.
You'll be able to spot it, it's in black and white. I daren't go near there on a 56K modem. I'll check it out tomorrow on ADSL and post a link if it's still knocking about.

I'm guessing it's this since the first episode is called "Husbands Know Best".
Looks like this could be another in the "not shit" category.

Fuck me, this is genuinely disturbing, but good.
Well spotted UB.
I'd just like to rave about the Spumco stuff on Icebox, especially Weekend Pussy Hunt . It's a great cartoon that starts out as a dumb (but good) collection of scatological gags with a Looney Tunes style premise, but over the course of the episodes turns into a brilliant film noir homage, with Dirty Dog having one Weekend to hunt down and kill Cigarettes the Cat (hence the title).
It's great like the best 40's cartoons were, and I'd say with nearly the same standard of artistry too. Shame you can't see it all anymore, but Spumco are supposed to be putting it up on their own realcartoons.net at some point (probably after they've finished their new show for fox kids- in other words ages from now).

Ok, so it appears that everything on the site is great and I am very mistaken.
The really great episode of the 50s sitcom is the one where the young son starts a rock and roll band with a black friend singing in it.
The scene where the mom hallucinates the singer with a bone through his nose dancing to jungle drums is brilliantly done.
Out South Parks South Park. Stunning.
Tim Burton's 'Stainboy' cartoons on http://www.shockwave.com are fab. Check 'em the hell out.

Some good stuff, especially his "Buzz" pages (if you have speakers).
I find this funny.

AAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH! Not the Pygmy Fucking Shrew again!!!
Sorry. I've just seen this touted around various broadcasters for what seems about four years now (but clearly can't be - it just feels like that!). I wish someone would just broadcast the fucker and put me out of my misery.
No, not us.
Cheerio
>I wish someone would just broadcast the fucker and put me out of my misery.
It was broadcast, on Channel 5 earlier this month.
Sorry if it distressed you to see it again. I just think it's beautifully done.

Ah, was it on that Trev 'n' Simon show?
>Sorry if it distressed you to see it again. I just think it's beautifully done.
Nothing personal. I think there are some good moments in it (the list of Shrew's predators are good) but I absolutely hate the end, which is very weak. Actually, I know why I was more distressed. It's because I keep getting badgered about lack of new, great comedy ('cos I'm in a position to do something about it - at least on E4.com) - and, indeed, it's a situation I want to counter and improve. However, when I see the same old animation touted around the industry as an example of cutting edge comedy, I despair.
Ah well. Back to the millstone.
