Smoke/David Cann/shameless self-promotion

For those of you in the Carlton London region, there's a one-off sketch show called 'Smoke' filling the prestigious midnight slot this Thursday. It'll probably get overlooked amid all the BrassEye shennanigans, but if any of you do see it, I'd be interested to know what you think (as I wrote some of it...).
It's the product of a sketch writing course that Carlton ran last year. They've done this kind of thing every year for a while, although it's usually geared towards sitcoms. The scripts produced on the courses don't usually get filmed and broadcast, so we were pretty chuffed that it passed muster in a readthrough with Carlton's money/commissioning types.
Not seen very much of it myself yet, so not sure what it will be like - the budget was very low, and with eight new/newish writers, it's probably a bit of a mixed bag of material. But hopefully there's some good stuff in there, and the cast is great - quite a bit of David Cann. Who's always worth watching.
Just wish there was a bit of a longer buffer between it and BrassEye...

And I should add that Time Out describe it as "patchy at best". So what are you waiting for? Set those videos!
