>there was a bit about the brass eye special at the start of liquid news last night.
Despite what people were saying, the Phil Collins story was covered in the Mirror yesterday... just a single column tucked away around page 10 or so. Phil Collins (rather than paedophilia) was the main subject of the article. No hysteria there then.
Frankly, the Daily Mail has better things to worry about at the moment. By the way, has Morris ever 'stung' Archer? it seems inevitable that their paths have crossed at some point.
Pity he hasn't done Littlejohn or Bushell in the new one (at least not that we know of yet.)
On liquid news the reporter said something like "...It may be too late for Collins. The show goes out on Thursday, and T-Shirts will be on the streets by Friday..."
What exactly did he mean by this??????
Sort of cotton garments with very short sleves.
>By the way, has Morris ever 'stung' Archer?
Have a look at the 'The Day Today' entries in the Edit News of SOTCAA. Archer and others, stung but not broadcast (I think).
Which reminds me, did the interviews he did with Bret Easton Ellis, Michael Moore and Jerry Springer ever get broadcast anywhere?
(I read about these in an Observer article some years back, when 'Jam' was due to be shown on C4 - and, knowing nowt about the radio original, assumed 'Jam' would be like 'BE' and contain these interviews... but it didn't... perhaps they were on the radio version... were there stings on the radio version [the ones on the CD don't seem to be proper stings]... sorry, I'll contue muttering to myself off line).
> Michael Moore and Jerry Springer
Michael Moore went out on one of the Breezeblock sessions, Springer was indeed on an edition of Blue Jam (on the radio). No idea about Bret Easton Ellis. I hope it was suitably gory.

Something about why he insists on controversially filling his books with chapters, I think.

Central to the sting is the wearing of T-shirts featuring the words "Nonce Sense", the fictitious paedophile-awareness campaign the celebs were suckered into endorsing.
SO glad he did Richard Blackwood.
>SO glad he did Richard Blackwood.
As NTK put it:
"... the will-they-won't-they-show-it BRASS EYE vapourware special (10.35pm, Thu, C4) - "If you think kiddie porn is funny, you should have a good laugh" advises Richard Blackwood, comedian"
the brett easton ellis bit was also on one of the breezeblocks
