The Brass Eye Special will be shown on 2nd August and probably without any cuts.
This is the reason it has been delayed " Because of the two girls who
went missing the other day. As Channel 4 is mainly owned by the Government
they didn't think it was the time to show it, seeing as though parts are to
do with pedophilia. "

So the show WAS ready and CH4 DID bottle it, rightly or wrongly you decide. Anyway, feel free to rip that statement above apart. It hasn't come from CH4 it has come from Chris Morris. It appears that some of those representing the station have been telling a few porkies to people over the phone.

If only we had an official statement worded in that way. Such honesty. They would be eaten alive by you lot.

it's all very well being sensitive but all these news stories aren't even to do with pedophilia. that girl in france apparently drowned by accident, and i don't think the jamie bulger or sarah payne case involved sexual abuse (although i might be wrong).

Maybe the skilful manipulation of not only the media, but the "new" media - the web based internet media - is really the point here?

We are shown to be the feverisly gibbering instant news grabbing, 24/7 needy Morris obsessive anoraks we are?
