Interested to see that Graham Fellows is doing two nights at the Lowry in Manchester/ Salford this year. This seems to be continuing his trend to appear at ever increasing venues.

I saw him (twice I think) at the Royal Exchange, then the Dancehouse, then last year at the Opera House. I think he also did one at the Contact (before the Dancehouse- but I didn't go to that).

Although this won't mean that much if you don't know the size of Mancunian theatres, they are getting increasingly large and prestigious.

The thing is, though, I haven't really noticed that his popularity is increasing. In fact if anything, he seemed to get more exposure a couple of years ago than he is at present.

Are the venues he plays at getting bigger country-wide, or is it just a Manchester thing?
