Now, if that's such a clever series of puns, what on earth whas the pun behind the name of the boys' putative housekeeper in "The Goodies' Book Of Criminal Records"?
It was "Mrs Edna Tole (Mrs)".
Am I missing something? Is it a joke? Is it a veiled reference to something? They weren't usually the sorts to let a chance for a gag slip by.
