Victor Borge - RIP

No-one else seems to have mentioned this so I thought I would. Victor Borge was one my favourite comedians ever, and a fantastic talent. The world is a sorrier place for his passing. Of course it would be too much to expect a tribute on the BBC I suppose...

The Telegraph obituary mentioned his fantastic habit of walking onstage in white tie and tails, striding confidently up to the grand piano, mounting the piano stool and finally ending, bemused, standing on top of his Steinway.
Also to be appluaded for, despite being the highest paid entertainer of his day, only doing 2 TV shows a year. Contemporary favourites could learn a lot from that rationing of quality material.
