I like the élitist rant. Puts it better than I could. Mostly due to an awareness of the details. Could never be arsed with one of those.

So there we were in Pleasance Venue 6—Pleasance in The Basement—attending a BBC Stand Up Show trial: that Jew with the nose the size of his fake plastic nose, a young, whimsical Irishman, and someone else, compered by spiky-haired bombastic Aussie (interaction, matey victimisation, adlibbed script warmed up from last year®). He asks hands up if you're middle class. I am, someone off to the left is.

"What, are the rest of you all working class?" Yeeeees, relieved assent, drooling all round... Buncha fucken Edinburgh Fringe patrons at a BBC1 comedy event, hoping to score some weed afterwards but avoid anyone _too_ drunk, and we somehow aren't the very parody of Middle Class. Wank wank wank.

So, again, well said.
