Where do they disparage them? Unless I've missed something significant, these are the only references during the 'Summer Holiday' notes:

1) Lyrics to 'Body' in the SH script. "Fucking great" they say, and indeed they mean it.

2) Something about him being "cheap" further on, but only in the sense that his fee would hardly have been extortionist at that point in his career.

So, scarcely disparaging. I'll have another glance, but I saw Otway with one of the Corpses recently and his face beamed with joy throughout.

Mike4SOTCAA was pretty pleased about it too.

Sadly, I was elsewhere for that gig. But I did see him back in about 1988 and got my 'Whoops Apocalypse' single signed.

My excuse for being up? I've decided to stay awake all night drinking tea and smoking. It seems right somehow, what with it being nearly Christmas and all.

I'll sleep on the train tomorrow dreaming about Truman The Hamster, the London Eye and Subbes' breasts. I'll have just enough time to pause en route and raze the Hen & Chickens to the ground though.

Ahhh maybe I miconstued what you wrote. I thought the 'fucking great' comment was you people being sarcastic...

And I thought that by saying that he probably came cheap meant he was pretty shit otherwise he would have been more expensive to feature on the show...
