Figures. Thanks for the pointer.
However, I think the point still stands. it'd be nice to be able to go straight to the stuff one hasn't read before, don'tcha think?

I wasn't arguing with that. Not my responsibility.
Enjoy the article.
Yes...
Nice to see another "we've totally missed the point of the site, haven't we?" dig at TV Cream in an inappropriate context. I do love to be told what mentality I endorse.
Some points: "the tapes were a vanity exercise - they were designed to show they were nimble-fingered with the edit-buttons". Really? I thought they were quickly cobbled-together Xmas gifts for their colleagues and mates.
And, apparently, "as far as we're concerned, the best way to learn about television is to watch a complete rushes session. Not just the fucks and the door handles, but the whole thing. Every single re-take, every single aside to the floor manager, every single big thick BBC wire trailing across the filthy studio floor." I'm sure that the VT editors resposible for producing these 'How To Learn Television' Christmas documentaries will bear that in mind. For those (i.e. the intended audience) who work in television, however, the events listed above are everyday events, hardly remarkable or worthy of inclusion.
Oh no, hang on, they were supposed to be funny in-joke tapes, weren't they? Ahhh, you nearly had me going there with your "tell everyone how to do their job" agenda. Tsk! You guys!
