Kurt Vonnegut once sat an exam on Kurt Vonnegut.
He failed it.
>He failed it.
No, really.
'Slaughterhouse 5' was made into a film in 1972, but it's impossible to get hold of.
Ta Mike. :)
Anyone got some help, that might help.
Help might help?
Hold the front page, someone!
Alan Rudolph did a version of Breakfast of Champions last year with Bruce Willis in.
Never saw it. Not supposed to be that good, but the book's pretty unfilmable.
And there was a Vonnegut thing with Nick Nolte as a n old Nazi recently, wasn't there? That was supposed to be a lot better.
There you go. Second hand information and allusion, no facts at all. That what you were after?
Yes

Wasn't that a plot in the film 'Back To School' (starring that fat American bloke with the great big eyes out of Caddyshack)?
The fat American bloke with the great big eyes played a self-made millionaire who went back to school and used his influence and money to cheat his exams - which included hiring Kurt Vonnegut to write an essay about Kurt Vonnegut (he actually made a cameo), but still somehow failed.
But it all turned out okay in the end - he passed the final exams fairly, recaptured the respect of his son, everyone threw their hats in the air and Ned Beatty beamed a big smile.
Bloody rotten film.
