Name the two current ITV franchise holders for London. Posted Sat Dec 30 21:45:40 GMT 2000 by Justin

Asked on Fifteen-To-One yesterday. The contestant may have been *technically* wrong when she said LWT and Thames, but you almost felt William G Stewart wanted to accept it.

Was George and Mildred a Thames programme? For some reason I can't hum the Thames sting without hearing it in my head followed by the G & M music.

(evidence of a long, stoned evening)

you can play the Thames sting on the open D,G,B strings of a guitar, only needing to fret the B once on the first fret on the way back down. i can do this for hours.

Cool, it works!

You can sort of do the Doctor Who music with just the E string, do 3 lots of E and then one lot of G.
