baroness young Posted Fri Dec 15 14:54:09 GMT 2000 by Stewart Lee

it would be good if you all went and voted 'no' on the website baroness young has set up to help her swing the lords against this issue. Here it is ..

An odd site,

The question is ambiguous: Do you want to keep the age of consent at 18? could mean higher or lower, and the fact that it isn't 18 any more makes it innaccurate.
I voted No and hoped that it was the right one!

It also asks you for your name, location and sexual preference....... Data Protection Act anyone????

I was more worried about the '7000 spoiled votes so far' thing. Surely there's only so many times people can leave their name as 'Ricky Martin' and run away giggling.

7,000 "spoiled ballots"...sounds like a certain baroness wants to influence the voting!

If you're worried about them taking your details write to the company that administer the site
RODNEY TYLER,
INTERACTIVE BUREAU LONDON,
HOLBORN GATE,
26 SOUTHAMPTON BUILDINGS,
LONDON WC2A 1PJ.
.. and ask them to send you written confirmation that they have remoced your details from the database, as they are obliged to do under the data protection act.

Does this mean that my vote as "Bertie Magoo, bisexual woman over 55" isn't going to be counted then? In such a wonderful statistically valid survey. Damn.

I think that what happened was that 100% of people voted on the site to lower the age of consent, so she removed all of the votes from gay blokes, because she believes "..they have a vested interest.." (a quote she made before the vote, saying that gay MPs should not be allowed to vote) in lowering the age. Wicked old bitch.
It's a wonder she hasn't picked up on the fact that there's no legal age limit for lesbian sex.

More to the point, I don't live in your silly country, so I don't care.

I live in a country where the only anal intercourse tolerated is between memebers of the clergy and small boys.

What's with the "Aaaaahhhhhhh?" What happened? Were you perhaps in the middle of some anal sex?

Will you lot keep it down in there! It's already uncomfortable enough having four of you rodents in there without having to listen to you yammering away all night as well.

Kids - don't try this at home. Try it at school instead - at least they have a nurse on the premises.

(Ah, I see my stuffed horse's head has arrived. Do excuse me.)
