>Oh My God!!!!!!
Missed it - is it getting a repeat
It was pretty sickening, instead of ending with a great piece of comedy, Renwick opted for the 'pretend beauty in defeat' ending. Now everyone will be comparing it to the annoying Blackadder Goes Forth ending now and saying how poetic and sad it was. It should of ended with Meldrew throwing that syringe at that guy's arse and getting a `180'. It wasn't that bad, but should of ended with a big bang, rather than a sad petering out.
Plus there's no way she could have killed her either. Dissolving paracetamal into a drink is never going to kill anyone. If she'd put in nearly enough the drink would've tasted extremely acidic and would have been thrown up shortly after consumption.
I don't know. The threat of murder should have been more convincing like say putting rat poison in a cake, or going at her with a machete. Very disappointing.
Does anyone remember a really ace comedy series about 5 years ago. It was written by David Renwick and someone else who's a famous writer. It starred Richard Briers as a mad old man who believed everything he saw on the telly.
It was ace, What was it called? I can't remember.
'If You See God, Tell Him' I remember it being good, but extremely depressingly stark, but I was only about 11 - 12 at the time.

I think they tried to make it an ambiguous ending, i.e. we don't know if Margaret had finished off the hit-and-run woman or not. Still feels like a bit of a cop-out. Weren't we promised that Victor's demise would be funny as well as tragic?
I missed it then again I missed the Millionaire thing too - but that was crap, stupid old git should have gone years ago
Are you referring to Chris Tarrant?
