Rory Bremner

...has just spent an hour talking to himself. Now, "My Government and I" was technically accomplished, I'll give him that. Unfortunately, this is becomes largely meaningless when you realise he has NOTHING TO SAY. AT ALL.
Bremner obviously thinks he's being very clever by lampooning people in power. But since it seems he has no particular satirical point to get across, the program becomes little more than just an endless series of impressions, and not very good impressions at that. His Tony Blair in particular is terrible. He's just stuck a wig and pair of false eyebrows on as if to say "See how I transform into the Prime Minister before your very eyes!"
Add to this the fact that the script itself is painfully lacking in humour and you've got one rubbish waste of time on your hands. Does he think we're going to be so distracted by the clever way in which he plays so many parts that we won't notice that utter worthlessness of this type of show?
I'd rather watch Mike Yarwood anyday. His impressions weren't that great, but at least he never tried to convince us he was the saviour of modern comedy.

That ted and ralph thing was actually very good- bit long though, to be honest I think they should have stopped the Fast Show after that, left it alone.
But I was very very very drunk.
