Audience Participation - Best & Worst?

My current favourite is when Al Murray, as the Pub Landlord in Time Gentlemen Please, gets the audience to shout the name of the quiz machine "Fact Hunt" & its sequel "Big Hunt". There's something strangely compelling about a group of over 500 adults doing this...
My least favourite has always been producer Dan Patterson's warm-up - I presume he is still doing the same old routine that he's done for years. I didn't even find it very funny the first time!

Someone really should mention Ben Elton's "Audience Participation" routine.

I've just remembered the entire audience having to sing the theme tune from Black Beauty a couple of years ago at a radio show - we couldn't do the 'vrum vrum's for laughing (& it was supposed t be for a serious bit). And we had to do a ballon race once.
