Ayatollah Khomeni's funeral, Tehran, 1989.
The Ayatollah's body is in an open coffin and passed over the heads of the mourning crowd, who are jumping up and down in grief, as is the Arabic way.
His body falls out of the coffin on to the mourners below, and has to be sort of scooped back in.
Shown on the news at the time, but never on funny clips shows since.
Pesky taste and awareness of cultural differences.
