Chris Morris = Radiohead Posted Wed Nov 8 20:49:47 GMT 2000 by 'Peter O'

This is, like, you know, a sequel to the bad analogy between Rory Storm and Terry and June, or whatever it was. Anyway, he's gone well off his chump and lost the thing big time. Good some years ago and now retreating up his bum to hide from his own legacy. The Mary Hand-Jobs slot was like Kid A. Lots of noises, no pleasure. The Michael Moore interview was very bad, given that it contained but one "funny concept", that Moore had been masterfully hoodwinked into believing that Wug is a real name. That's about as clever as a shoe. However, this might be a bollocks theory because it's probably just an unused outtake from Blue Jam that wasn't ever going to see the light of day due to having not gone very well, and the rest of Blue Jam is very good and so he may not have lost it after all. Peace.

I like Kid A. But alas I missed the Morris on Hobbs thing.

The Michael Moore interview was recorded at least 18 months ago and almost certainly was rejected for Blue Jam. Personally, I think all the interviews on Blue Jam were inferior to the ones he's done before. But how do you improve on Brass Eye? The change of direction came at exactly the right time. Perhaps, after three series of Blue Jam and the only occasionally brilliant Jam, it's that time again.

By all accounts, Morris is indeed planning something very different. But he isn;t Radiohead. He's Scott Walker.

Chris Morris is planning a new patio extension. Is that different enough for you?

Different?! So that's it. Chris Morris has joined the Ground Force team. And he's not Scott Walker, he's Tiny Tim.

Don't be sarcastic.

Which would make Jo Unwin into that one out of The GTOs that Tiny Tim married.

So where would Wildman Fischer fit into this?

Is there no room for sarcasm amongst the Morris-worshipping cultists?

Ooohh! That's a killer. He is a bit floppy though, isn't he? I can definitely link Armastice to those 'Sit Down' long-sleeve t-shirts from the early 90's, at least on a vague emotional level.

Okay, upping the stakes a little, Lee and Herring are Carter USM.

oh and Lee And Herring are The Charlatans, actually. Think about it.

Okay I'll give you Charlatans but Paul Garner is without question Ride. This is because of the EPs (which are the mobile phone stunts on Morris's original Radio 1 show) and then one of them later joining Oasis (which is 11 O'Clock Show.)
