OK, maybe us comedy types have been a bit unfair to the ident crowd. Just because we don't understand what you're going on about, it doesn't mean you're sad or talking gibberish. Although I can't interpret most of the postings, it is obvious that you're saying some interesting things, and it is clear that some posters (notably Bods and Jase) are being as erudite and challenging as Jon, TJ and Justin discussing Brass Eye.

So here's a peace treaty between the two camps. Ident fans, use this thread to start a discussion that we can understand, appreciate and enjoy. Maybe about the use of idents in comedy shows, or bizarre ident facts (Granada contains a hidden subliminal message, ATV involved in political sex scandal or whatever). And we'll try not to mention Nele Morrissey.

I'll grab the olive branch. What about the original, bizarre TSW animated sequence. The logo was nicknamed the 'triple-brazier' and owes its roots to the station's founder Kevin Goldstein-Jackson, who I recall used to appear on screen wearing a revolving tie.
