Memento (No plot spoilers please) Posted Mon Oct 30 14:21:43 GMT 2000 by 'Max'

Did anyone else think this was one of the most intriguing, brilliantly executed and thought provoking films they had ever seen?

Like 'Usual Suspects' it was one of those films you want to see again immediately after it's finished.

Perfection. Even if they did rip off the Backwards Thread.

If you have seen it, please don't give anything away. If you haven't go and see it now.

They've probably all seen it. They've just forgotten.

Good for you, Sam D. Anyone else want to express a vague inclination to see 'Memento'? All welcome.

Could look marginally interesting, I suppose. Might consider seeing it sometime in the future.

Al, have you seen it? Although it was made in America, it was written and directed by a Brit, Christopher Nolan and it has a very European Art Film sensibility which I should imagine you'd appreciate. (But don't let this put off fans of American films).

Doesn't this sound the sort of film you might have a vague intention to see on Wednesday, Al? In a hazy "maybe, if it's not raining" sort of way?

Also I've just discovered it's hypnotic website (which doesn't give too much away.)

Is this a thread, or are we all just text messaging each other to arrange to meet in the Hogshead in Leicester Square for a couple of pints before the film starts?

I'll have a large popcorn.

"Sixth Sense" was a rip-off of "Jacob's Ladder". Only not as good.

He was in La Confidential as well. It was quite a shock to realise where I recognised him from in that.
