Points Of View

Anyone just watch it? It was the same old 'I think the BBC is wonderful'/'I think the BBC is rubbish' letters and phone calls intermingled by the moronic rambling of Terry Wogan. And they bleeped the word 'cobblers'!
Someone needs to write in and sabotage the programme.

Have written in, to praise The Way It Is TV pilot, to very very very little success, and the plan to sabotage the programme is going the same way, but does exist.
Anything with Terry Wogan must be destroyed.

A friend of mine once wrote to Points Of View when she was sixteen - I can't now remember whether it was to bury a programme or to praise it - and they read out the letter in full and showed it on screen, but my friend was aghast, as they used a 6-year-old child to read it out, including her full name and town where she lived. It took a long time to live that one down at school.

I wrote some really clever letters to them in 1982 and 1983 and they never read them out. I despise the show.

Isn't Jon beautiful when he's filled with nostalgia, or Shandy even?

I didn't come on this forum to answer that kind of question. I have the full confidence of my dealer. That's all I'm prepared to say on the matter.
