Sean Locke 15 Storeys High Posted Thu Oct 19 09:38:27 BST 2000 by 'Stuart O'

Heard for the first time last night - very very funny. I normally don't listen to R4 much (it comes from being force fed the Archers through my formative years) but I hate to think I'm missing out on stuff like this.

"What do you reckon those stocks are made out of then?"
"I've absolutely no idea whatsoever, mate. Oak?"

I guess you had to be there...

Sean Lock's 15 Minutes of Misery (the previous series that became 15 Storeys High) had the edge I think, but FSH certainly has it's moments - the stocks thing, as you noted.

Radio 4 has (had) a great deal of wonderful comedy, though in my mind it's been a bit lacking in the last 4 months or so. Hopefully it'll pick up again.

Harry Hill, Al Murray, Lee and Herring all had airings on Radio 4 before appearing on telly.

So did KYTV (RadioActive), Whose Line, Fry & Laurie, and, er, After Henry.

Anyone remember 'Dial M For Pizza'?

I remember reading a very bad review of it, but I don't think I ever heard it.

Reviews, pah. It was very funny. They even had a cannibal butcher 10 years before LoG.

That's not surprising. Another thing the LOG has nicked. It was a funny show.
