Hey, I went out with my mum yesterday to buy my first pair of school shoes and was given a great free pop poster with them, which I've pinned up on my bedroom wall. It's got all the top acts on - The Beatles are my favourites, though. They've been going forever & I can't imagine a world without their records. I mean, if they ever split up, how would Lennon & McCartney use their considerable song-writing skills? Who would they perform on stage with - their wives (only joking - ha ha!)?

Mind you, I've heard that Linda is supposed to be quite a good cook. Maybe she should bring out a range of convenience foods, such as beef burgers or sausages to keep her busy while Paul is in the recording studios at Abbey Road.

I want to see this film The Magic Christian, that Paul's written a song for, #"if you want it, here it is, come and get it", you know. And Ringo's in it too! I'm sure that after this, he'll become a truly great film comedy star, he's so funny and versatile! And it's bound to be a fab and far-out masterpiece of cinema, they'll be showing it endlessly in years to come, along with other classics of our age like The Strawberry Statement. Nice to see Peter Sellers remaining on top with this, I'm sure he meant it when he swore he'll never do Inspector Clouseau again, he'll never get that desperate. And just look at the rest of the cast. Milligan, Wilfrid Hyde-White, John LeMesurier, Laurence Harvey, Dennis Price all wonderful people and great stars, not at all embittered electric-soup devotees who'll do any old rubbish to get the taxman off their backs. Not too sure about the last two names on the cast though, John Cleese and Graham Chapman...are they in On the Buses or something?

I saw Cleese in a show with Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden and William Oddie in Cambridge. They didn't seem to like each other very much, I can't see any long term friendships there.

Out of all the bands in Australia I like The Seekers best of all. They sing nice songs. My sister goes out with a boy in a band called AC/DC. He dresses up as a schoolboy which is silly. I don't think he'll be doing that much longer. My sister thinks AC/DC are really good, but my Mum says they just make a lot of racket and who would want to hear that. You'll probably never hear of them as I don't think they'd ever make a record.
