Jon, although he doesn't look like Jasper Carrott, is still a shandy drinker/alcoholic, who enjoys leaning out of the windows of my flat and heckling passers-by about crisps and Turkish Kebab men about World War 1.

Al, is a nice guy. He has a receeding hair-line, but is the master of all Media Studies teachers and understands the basis of the wonder that is life's creation.

But now Jon is in control of the keyboard...

Ailie is charming, though openly Scottish, a gay gal, perhaps a female Muriel Grey, "it's meant to be blonde" hairstyle, happy-go-lucky manner disguises an apparent seriousness that disguises a hidden depth of haappy-go-luckiness. So there.

Al, his receding hairline everyday giving him a more Napoleonic cast of features, gazes at the screen that displays a flickering image of "Speed 2" with Baudrillardian disdain. He is above the mere business of life itself.

And now they've given me the keyboard (Al). And as usual I have nothing of any consequence to add. Ailie is very nice, the perfect hostess, and has shown us to a decent kebab house in our hour of need. Jon is spectacularly drunk, and, giggling like a girl, is dispensing his own peculiar brand of insults and wisdom in equal measure. However, the cinematic milestone that *is* Speed 2 is reaching its climax, and Ailie's long suffering housemates have had enough so we must depart... of love,

I am now so ill from that 'flu thing' that I look like Kermit the Frog... Big eyes, green skin and all that...

I don't think the drinking on Saturday has blessed me with a swift recovery...

Blimey! There have been countless attempts to suggest cures for flu, but few people have ever suggested a cause for it....!

Sounds like I missed a great day...!
