(again TTTV, although it was made by a different company each time and TT coordinated it)

(definitely HTV)
Anglia's no 1s are Survival and Sale of the Century.

Southern: Worzel Gummidge, How!
Sorry to break the hymen of your thread-creating virginity anonymously, Jason. Slip of the finger.
Shouldn't Thames' be The Bill?
And Granada's surely Coronation St?
Here's my view of the world:
Anglia: Sale of the Century
ATV: Crossroads
Border: Mr and Mrs
Carlton: Strangely nothing sticks in the mind!
Channel: Puffin's Pla(i)ce - not networked I know, but surely their most famous show!
Central: Family Fortunes
Grampian: Electric Theatre Show
Granada: Coronation Street
HTV: Paint Along With Nancy
LWT: The South Bank Show
Meridian: In the Wild
Southern: How
STV: Take the High Road
Thames: Man About the House
TSW: That's My Dog
TVS: No 73
Tyne Tees: Razzmatazz
Ulster:???
Westward: Dreary contributions to About Britain
Westcountry: ???
YTV: 3-2-1
Yes, you're right. The trouble is my memory is mostly in-and-out, you see...
>TSW - Lucky Ladders (?)
>Anglia - Highway (?) or Robin Of Sherwood
>HTV Wales - Keynotes (?)
>
From the top, Lucky Ladders was Anglia, Highway was coordinated by Tyne Tees, Robin of Sherwood was produced by Goldcrest for HTV and Keynotes by Grundy for HTV and recorded in Bristol.
>TSW - Lucky Ladders (?)
That programme was Anglia or HTV West. Think it was Anglia. Defo not Tyne Tees. TSW made That's My Dog, Sounds Like Music and Spike Milligan's Ratties.
>
>Anglia - Highway
That *was* Tyne Tees. Trisha, Sale Of The Century, Survival and Tales of the Unexpected were Anglia.
>Tyne Tees - Cross Wits
Oh come on, The Tube or the Cooksons, surely?
>Grampian - (?)
James The Cat, Strongman competitions in the 80's (co-pro'd with Thames) and the TV awards a few years ago
>Channel - Puffin's Place (?)
They made a kid's proggie recently -- wasn't it the one with the delectable Isla Fisher?
>Not sure about Carlton, Meridian or Westcountry, and Westward, Southern and ATV were before my time.
Southern -- How, Worzel Gummidge, Out of Town. Westy -- Home in the Country. Carlton -- real Carlton, only Millionaire springs to mind. Meridian -- mainly single dramas, but they did make Wizadora(!) ATV -- Thunderbirds!!! Westward -- gulp. Anyone?
And what about TWW, Rediffusion and ABC?
And for the ultimate challenge, WWN/Teledu Cymru........
Westward -- gulp. Anyone?
Westward was a funny thing. One of the most famous logos yet hardly any networked stuff. Good PR or what? Probably the fact that many people remember watching it on holiday. Apart from About Britain and a documentary on the Pirates of Penzance with Spike Milligan I can't remember much else. Although they did produce a drama, Drake's Venture and a kids show Maggie's Moor.
Oh come on, cut me a bit of slack, I wasn't even born when half of these programmes/channels were in existance!
>Oh come on, cut me a bit of slack, I wasn't even born when half of these programmes/channels were in existance!
Jason C...The Voice of Youth!!! Yo!
>And what about TWW, Rediffusion and ABC?
>
>And for the ultimate challenge, WWN/Teledu Cymru........
Using the same excuse as Jason C...I was born just before they went off air (yes Dan F is vintage 1968).
ABC: The Avengers
Rediffusion: Take Your Pick
TWW: Pass
WWN: Pass
Ah-ha! Just remembered that TWW was the original producer of Mr and Mrs!! So that just leaves WWN. Come on, surely someone must be aware of something they made!!
And before anyone asks, I'm not that old either (I was born in 1973). I'm just a mindfull of useless crap and proud of it!! ;)
Westcountry had 'The Lads' - a night-time men's programme, shown about 1997. I was really surprised to see a 'Westcountry Production for ITV' at the end.
Channel - The Island - a kids show a few years back.
MHP used to have a section on old TV listings, and there were several kids' Grampian progs shown nationally. I remember when the TV Times used to list the station which made the programme.
UTV boasts that its Jenny Bristow Cookery programmes have the highest ratings for any cookery programme on the ITV Network. Well there ain't much competition there!
Meridian did quite a bit early on. Their 'Hornblower' series was shown nationally a few years ago.
Westcountry made`Commando` a prime time programe from about 94 about an army training centre. Grampian presented something like the `TV awards or Music Awards` around about 96, I can`t remember exaxtly what but I thought it was a bit weird at the time as it was held in London. Border also had a networked program at the about the same time late at night but I can`t remember what it was about
Central - Children's ITV and ITV Sport (most productions)
UTV had a networked programme recently. And official ITV policy is that they don't do cookery programmes.
Anyway, the programmes that stand out in my memory -
Anglia: Survival
Border: Mr and Mrs
Central: Crossroads
Granada: Coronation Street
LWT: Me and My Girl
STV: Take the High Road
Thames: Rainbow
TVS: Fraggle Rock
Tyne Tees: Supergran
Yorkshire: Emmerdale Farm
Ulster reminds me of various programmes , but particularly Good Evening Ulster and Police Six. HTV seems to have made no impression on me at all, and TSW and Channel were strictly to be seen only in the listings of Look In!
Oh my god, last night I saw a Tyne Tees networked prog, After they were Famous.
New logo proudly shown on the end caption.
First I`ve seen from them for a while
Additionally,
Southern: The Famous Five
ATV: Tiswas, The Muppet Show, Jesus of Nazareth
Granada: World in Action
Thames: Benny Hill Show
London Weekend (none of this LWT nonesense): Upstairs Downstairs
Anglia: Tales of the Unexpected
>Additionally,
>Southern: The Famous Five
>ATV: Tiswas, The Muppet Show, Jesus of Nazareth
>Granada: World in Action
Surly Coronation Street is more well known
>Thames: Benny Hill Show
Easily The Bill

>Oh my god, last night I saw a Tyne Tees networked prog, After they were Famous.

The last time I saw this programme it was a YTV Production. Now it's Tyne Tees. Tyne Tees used to be famous for music shows and original drama (Barriers, Paper Lads, Andy Robson), now they seem to be charged with producing tacky archive shows.
>>>Additionally,
>>>Southern: The Famous Five
What about Worzel Gummidge, The Flockton Flyer, Runaround, and of course...Houseparty. Ring the doorbell and put the kettle on!
WWN/TELEDU CYMRU* made no television programmes for the ITV network. However, Teledu Cymru (As TWW) did make a few colour productions that were later shown on BBC 2 after HTV took over. HTV hold all of TWW's archives and are very nice, and will answer any queries on TWW or HTV programmes. There are contact details at http://www.htvwales.com in the HTVarchive section.
*WWN/Teledu Cymru was bought by TWW in the end anyway, so any networked programmes would be a TWW Production.
