If you want to use a text only browser for frames stuff, try a google search for
w3m. It doesn't render the frames, but it lets you select one, and you can work
your way through to the forum. It;s not so good for posting though.

i think lynx does that as well. i certainly managed a couple frame-by-frame. terribly tedious with this place, i imagine.
