I saw him 2 or 3 years ago play the lead in Miss Saigon, and while the show was poor, he was masterly.

Of course he was. Altogether now, heads... and tails, heads and tails, heads and tails...

He's been fantastic in every play I've seen him in. He seems to appear in Manchester plays a fair bit.. or did.
Film Fun was superb.

Julian Barratt (1/2 of Boosh) once came on stage with a small picture of Derek Griffiths stuck to the front of his guitar. "To critical acclaim".

Well, I laughed.

I have to say, Griffiths did look old. But then again, Heads & Tails is probably the last time I saw him.

Surely in Heads & Tails Derek Griffith did music and voice-overs to wildlife films and didn't actually appear in it?

Anyone else ever seen his class turn as a revolution-fixated hippy in the 1971 film "Don't Just Lie There, Say Something"?

Wasn't Derek in dire Desmonds spin-off 'Porkpie'?

He took it badly when his Mrs went off with Don Johnson.

And now he does the pay-off line at the end of the Oatso Simple advert. But he doesn't sing on it, more's the pity.
