I once saw a report from Stamford on About Anglia.

Tyne Tees covers almost the whole of the county of Yorkshire anyway including parts of Leeds the home of YTV studios. CARLtON* CENTRAL also covers most parts of Lincs nearly as far North as Grimsby
From a comedy point of view, in the last 5 (possibly more) years, what has any ITV region done for us?
I can honestly say that I have never switched over to ITV to intentionally watch a particular show for the last 5 years, at least. I see bits of a lot of them when flicking through, and quickly decide they're not the show for me.
ITV *have* done good stuff in the past. Comedy : Rising Damp. Factual : World in Action. Drama : Morse (cliches excepted). But now.... in my opinion, it's sunk below Sky in terms of plebbiness and lowest common denominator programming.
Prove me wrong.

Same here. I've also seen Anglia News West cover Boston and Spalding.
Hertfordshire:
Anglia (West) is receivable to persons across most of the north & east and central (A1(M)corridoor) part of the county from the main mast at Sandy Heath & relay at Kimpton. Most other areas receive London (LWT/Carlton) from Crystal Palace or from the relays in the West, South and South-East districts in Hertfordshire (including the county town of Hertford itself). Offically the broadcasters place Herts as East of England (both BBC & ITV). However, the argument falls down on demographics.
In a county of just over 1,000,000 people, the *Eastern* coverage (including overlap) is roughly 25% maximum. Out of that figure, only half (circa 125,000 in the North Herts District) actually watch Anglia or BBC East as their main region - and less than half again (in the North-East of the county)are unable to receive London via. aerial or cable (ntl feed both Anglia & ITV London into homes in Herts and Beds). The remainder of the viewers, receive and watch London. It would obviously make make sense, to sort it out either by switching the relays across to Anglia, or placing new masts to relay the London signal.
Because of this, most viewers with the option, watch London (including myself).

Many homes in Spalding have 3 aerials: one pointing north to Belmont (YTV), one east to Waltham (Carlton Central East, and one pointing south to Sandy (Anglia West)

Along the North Norfolk Coast you can get YTV from belmont. In fact North Norfolk features in the YTV map!

Yet here in Tyne and Wear we get Yorkshire or one of TTs 2 variations.

That is because certain parts of Tyneside are a black-spot and can not receive tv from Pontop Pike so Billsdale is the strongest transmitter
Yep, so here in ********** we get news for sodding cleveland. Grrr.
Devon- CARLTON WESTCOUNTRY
Bits of Devon along the North Coast get HTV. There are some relays in the area carrying the signal from Mendip.
