Alison Graham fan club Posted Tue Oct 3 10:58:11 BST 2000 by 'RB'

“Alison Graham's Soap and Flannel page has to be one of the most well written and funny columns I've ever seen. It's the first page my family turn to.”
Peter Ratcliffe,
Headingley, West Yorkshire.
Radio Times letters this week.

RT also came up with this subbing tour de force: Gym'll Fit It (headline on Fat Friends piece). Next there'll be “Suit You, Sir” (about fashion) “Pizza the action” (about something Italian) “No (fill in the blank) please, we're British” or “No sex please, we're (fill in the blank)”.

Speaking as someone who saw her saying things like "I think top 100 list are a great idea" at the BFI's Top 100 list thing at the NFT last Friday, I think she's totally and utterly full of shit!

Right. For the first time in my life, I'm in a position to take some positive action. You see, I'm just a couple of miles down the road from Headingley as we speak. I'm going to do it. I'm going to go up there and knock on every door until I find him. And then I'm going to put a halter round his neck and parade him round the streets of Leeds, Bradford and Halifax, and make him explain to each and every person he sees what he has done wrong and why he is truly, truly sorry. And the same goes for his 'family'.
