When In Doubt Recycle The Clips

Alright, so why the hell was I watching After They Were Famous? But you'd think that Tyne Tees would have been prouder than to just bung on the same Crossroads clips from 100 Clips from Hell (I think the Tony Adams interview was exactly the same, or at least some of it was), plus the usual Dave Hill's Mansion bit that has been shown at least 558 times. And you'd think 'writer' Stuart Maconie would know that Slade are from Wolverhampton, not Dudley. (When is he going to start writing additional material for Through The Keyhole, btw? Or does he actually have some standards these days?). Shocking programme, whatever.

My rejected TVGoHome effort (CB:"I can't ... er ... find that in my inbox. Please send it again") on this subject:
While They Are Famous
From the producers of Before They Were Famous and the director of After They Were Famous comes this logically inevitable one-off special featuring current celebrities presenting clips from programmes in which they are appearing today - including this one. With Carol Vordermaan and Jamie Theakston.
Producer Rick Cursive
Before They Become Famous
Innovative biographical documentary which uses inconceivably powerful computers to predict which British citizens will be famous in the year 2020. This week's edition features 13-year-old Saffron Duncan who will be inspired by the show to become a successful science fiction writer; and 9-year-old Tim Chalker who, gradually driven insane by the future revealed to him, will eventually fulfill it by killing 23 people in a pointless suicide bombing.
Produced by BBC Talent

The second one's better than anything I've seen in recent weeks on TVGH. And certainly better than Unnovations.
btw nice to have you back, Dr H.

Yeah, the handcuffs were pretty tricky.
