David Copperfield

Reading the Fist Of Fun book this morning I saw a reference to David Copperfield of 'Three Of A Kind' fame. What else did he do?
I know he did a pilot for his own show in '84, but I don't think that went anywhere. And I spotted him on some shit kids show years later. Oh, and he did Seaside Special as a stand-up in about '86 and was OK. But what else?

I think that was it, actually. He just vanished.
There was some spoof of Three Of A Kind in Alas Smith & Jones (I think) - a woman as Tracy Ullman saying "I'm the female one!" then cut to a guy who's supposed to be Lenny Henry saying "I'm the black one!" and then cut to a teddy bear which is meant to be Copperfield saying "And I'm the one who buggers up the punchlines". I think that was how it went. I think I totally mis-rerembered it, but anyway...

He did a children's comedy show on BBC1 called "Lift Off with Coppers & Co", set in a magic lift, or something, ages ago. It co-starred a Stan Boardman wannabe scouse comic called Greg something who once insulted my mum in his stage act!
