FilmFour showed a gorgeous print of it last year. I will pass it on to you.
I can't remember ever seeing a video. Lord knows I tried.

That's very very kind of you - thank you very much. btw the Kates will be in the post very soon!
I didn't think Bedazzled had ever been on tape. It was on Channel 4 late night about four years ago, and I was videoless at the time.
Thanks, BH!
Bedazzled has definitely been on video. I remember the cover from when I worked at HMV. It had Raquel Welch with smaller portraits of Pete and Dud on the front cover. Black Star might have a listing - I'll go and check...
For once in my life I am completely and utterly right. Released 1990, deleted 1997. The cover (pictured at the Black Star site) features a characteristically curvaceous Ms Welch (bloody hell - I'm turning into that bloke from 'The Good Old Days') with smaller head and shoulders portraits of Pete and Dud.

I wonder if that means that Lin Cook has the rights to it now. It really *should* be readily available.
I believe she has a say over its fate, but does not own the rights outright.
Meanwhile, what does the forum think of the upcoming remake with Brenden Fraser and Liz Hurley? Would it be astoundingly obvious to use the word 'sacrilege'?
For the uninitiated - www.bedazzledmovie.com
On the plus side - it's being directed by Harold Ramis, who also did Groundhog Day and Caddyshack. On the minus side - it's being directed by Harold Ramis, who also did National Lampoon's Vacation and Multiplicity.
Yes, I agree - sacrilege! It's a disgrace that American fools think Hurley can somehow act, and that just 'cos she's posh British she's somehow sophisticated (the same reason they think Are You Being Served is a subtle gem). She has the grace and intelligence of the average porn star, and is famous for the same reasons. After the Avengers movie and now this, what favourite of mine will they desecrate next? Don't tell me - Jim Carrey as Reggie Perrin!
If you'd like to give me your e-mail addy, I can send a taped-off C4 copy of Bedazzled to you.
There is the upcoming remake of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, of course. And Get Carter, with Stallone taking the lead.
Oh, and very kind, but I've already got a copy lying around on tape in a box somewhere.
I suggest everyone in need of a good laugh downloads Peter Cook singing the 'Bedazzled' pop song from Napster. Drimble Wedge and The Vegetations he called himself in the film, the funniest song of all time, honest.
