Al = Murray? Posted Wed Sep 20 17:39:24 BST 2000 by Brains

I read somewhere Al Murray uses this TV forum and I saw a man called Al on this forum but is he the same one Al Murray or is he another Al (something) or is he another Al Murray but is unconnected from the famous (television) Al Murray.

That is the question?

No - sorry to diasppoint. I am neither *the* Al Murray, nor an Al Murray. Just boring ol' Al.

Al had previously emailed The Corpses in an amusingly sarcastic way after they'd slagged him off. I can't say I'd noticed his contributions here, but I could be wrong. Rummaging about through the uk.comedy newsgroup(s) will probably reveal one or two of his postings. (though I expect he's busy with his rather good (in my opinion) sitcom at the moment)

ok, brief review :

Time Gentlemen please is a wonderful sitcom, and I can't remember laughin as much at such a programme in a long while. It's not as good as his stand up. But, they are different items/vehicles. Compared to the dross on Sky (Simpsons excluded) it far outshines anything else. Compared to most sitcoms, it has a lot going for it [judged on having seen 2 episodes]

Well, the Al from *this* forum is my favourite out of the two!

(Al, does this make up for all the times you've been left off marriage lists?)
