I was sat in my doctor's waiting room today, and they had piped muzak versions of early 80s vintage tv themes playing in there. It passed the time nicely, trying to identify them. I spotted Soap, Emmerdale Farm (definitely the version with Farm in the title) and one that might have been Black Beauty, but I wasn't sure.

My phone plays the start of "Hanging on the Telephone" by Blondie. Y'know, the ringing bit afore the tune kicks in. Boh.

Okay, I changed it to "Dogtanian and the 3 muskahounds" though now it is the tune from some 70's show or other which was used for several years as Mark Radcliffe's them tune on Radio 1.

I met someone last week with "Close To You" by the Carpenters on their phone. It got annoying after a while.

Mine got theived - as did my ability to remember whether that word obeys the i before e rule or not.
