Do Not Adjust Your Set

If The Corpses/Rob are still reading, then this bit of info that was recently passed to me should belatedly answer one of your questions about the existing DNAYS:

As far as I know, this is the only exising season two episode.

There's definitely another Thames episode that already exists - I saw it at the NFT in 1989. It had ropey picture quality, a time code running across the screen, the Bonzos performing "Beautiful Zelda" and the first few minutes were ruined for me by a cretin in the audience who hadn't read the programme notes going "is that David Jason? Is that David Jason?"

Probably David Jason's agent.

Channel 4 showed the Christmas ('68, I presume, since it was made by Thames and in B&W) Special "Do Not Adjust Your Stocking" a few years ago, from what looked like a 625-line-to-16mm telerecording, and the sound and picture were superb. I forget what the Bonzos number was, but if I remember correctly it included Gilliam's Christmas Cards animation.
Damn, if only they'd release the surviving DNAYS and 1948 Show episodes on tape and DVD...
