I've never liked Paul Ross. He's always the nobody safe-pair-of-hands twat wheeled out to give his opinion on TV retrospectives, no matter what the subject. So it came as little surprise when his poncy face appeared and delivered the first "reminiscence" on CH4's 100 Worst TV Bits the other night.

But later in the programme, as he was happily lambasting the Black and White Minstrel Show for its ignorance and racism he comes out and says:

I mean aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! Not being racist stil means you can have a pop at the Welsh, apparently. This fucking clip of Paul Ross should have been next in the Top 100, not L7's glorious impromptu pant removal.

Aaghhhhhh!

How can you? I can understand some people may not hate him or not mind seeing his face on telly now and again. But...such strong positive emotion for him seems inexplicable. Unless you'e being kind of ironic or whatever, y'now. Whatever.

Hmmm. Paul Ross (on 100 clips poorly linked by daughter of tv star) criticises *Mind Your Language* for stereotyping foreigners, but dismisses 3-2-1 as rubiish because (in his own words) "...all spanish shows are rubbish". I find it odd that anyone can judge an entire nation's output on one programme....
