Dunno, but i've seen lots of reviews like that. You're supposed to laugh, even though you don't want to. That kind of film.
I enjoy the trailer for it. "Critics have been saying...", followed by a quote. So shouldn't that be "A critic has been saying" then?
Be wary of films like this.
Supposed to be seeing it tonight, I'll let you know. I doubt I'll laugh as much as I did when I went to see 'Final Destination' with John. Man, that film is positively asthma inducing, especially the teachers death. The other cinema patrons weren't too impressed by my hysterical laughter, but then they were too busy pretending to be frightened, poor saps. By the time the film was halfway through, I had by means of my laughter recruited a small team of others who finally let go and embraced the comedy.
with the hollywood actors strike thingamy coming up you may well have to get used to this for a while...
to keep thing's going when they run out they're stocking up on nothing but cheap teen slasher's, & spoof teen slasher's, & spoof's of spoof teen slashers..etc..
It is utter shit. And the two chancing twats who are its supposed stars are astoundingly unfunny.
Is this that "scared spliff" film? That does sound terrible.
It *is* terrible.
Yeah but it's making fun of a series of films that were making fun of a series of films. It must be good.

And so the irony dribbles on. The 'Scream' sequels totally used their audience on the basis that it was the whole point. What does that mean? Either that the series will start mimicking late 'Friday The 13th' films or that Americans really *are* rubbish at irony.
Interview with one of the writers on Scary Movie - "Scream was subtle... it was a satire. Our's is visual... it's a spoof... People want over the top humour Nowadays"
Do they really? A paradox there, i feel. But know you know why the film was made. All in the best possible taste - to quote a dead man
Soon, they'll be spoofing 'Scary Movie' and on, and on, until the film industry collapses into a black hole, and we can start all over again.
Saw it tonight and actually, it wasn't too bad. A damn sight better than the movies it was spoofing (not tres difficile, I know). It was very....er...gay though!
In fact, it was extremely gay! Not as gay as John, but still...!
