Happy Talk Keep Talking Happy Talk Posted Fri Sep 8 13:09:57 BST 2000 by Captain Sensible

OK, so we're all depressed. But let's list things that make us happy.

Good idea. Hmm...

Right at the moment:

Chris Morris, Ailie, The 13th Floor Elevators, Clinic, Ladytron, Blur, Scott Walker, Nick Drake, everyone on the forum (even gas bottle, who provided me with a much needed laugh last night), Lee And Herring, The Goodies, Syd's Pink Floyd, pasta, Gail Porter (until she opens her mouth, that is), good sites that are still operational, the glorious memory of SOTCAA, Out Of The Trees, S Club 7, Kraftwerk, Can, Cook'd And Bomb'd, imminent new issue of "Paintbox", Sandy Denny, Flaming Lips...

So CM means more to you than Ailie? I hope she takes note.

It wasn't in any particular order, Jon.

Ailie is top of the list, of course.

I was impressed that I was right behind CM! I feel very priviledged!

This place makes me happy.
TJ's list made me very happy.
Cows make me happy. (They're just lovely)
Friday going home time will make me *extremely* happy when it finally comes...

"...Cook'd And Bomb'd..."

Isn't that a bit broken right now though. 'Tis a shame.

Happy.

I feel happy knowing that we're all pulling together after the fall of SOTCAA and will be carrying on regardless.

I'd be happier if I knew *why* it closed, but maybe the reason itself would make me unhappy. But I can face that.

Hellooooooooooo forum people!

I've just 'cum' here to say that you should talk about your fondest memories of Sotcaa, such as how you found it, your first reaction, or maybe a fond memory of this forum thing. Then, maybe if we get 100 comments, i can send this to Channel 4 to make a special, 3 hours long on a saturday night show, presented by me, Graham Norton. Wouldn't that be fun?

And now, a joke...

Cook'd And Bomb'd will be back with a vengance soon... Neil, Dave, Boki, 9, myself etc are feverishly working away behind the scenes, and once Neil's access problems are sorted, it'll blow your mind.

Ailie, making you happy makes you happy.
